Hospital Association of Oregon partners with AHA to offer workshop for clinical dyads

Monday, Sep. 15 to Tuesday, Sep. 16

The Hospital Association of Oregon is partnering with the American Hospital Association (AHA) to offer an in-person workshop Sept. 15-16 for physician and nurse hospital leaders who function as clinical dyads at their organizations.

This highly interactive workshop is designed for physician and nurse leaders to attend as a clinical dyad and focuses on strengthening collaborative leadership in today’s complex health care environment. Rooted in real-world applications, the workshop emphasizes hands-on, partner-based learning. Whether participants are new to their roles or seasoned leaders, the workshop will help create, strengthen, or amplify their clinical dyad relationship and deepen their effectiveness as a team.

Throughout the workshop, attendees will build a shared language for their respective clinical leadership teams and develop an action plan they can take back to their organizations. In addition to focused work with their partner, participants will engage with peers from other organizations—strengthening cross-system relationships and sharing practical strategies for ongoing leadership development.
